Ingrid Marsten, C.L.T., C.M.T.   -  CAMTC #172

After exploring western and alternative healing in Germany, Ingrid continued to further her education in massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine, eventually becoming a Professor at Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, as well as a Senior Instructor at the Shiatsu Massage School of California. Ingrid also has been a frequent guest lecturer for the Office of Continuing Medical Education at UCLA’s School of Medicine as a preceptor in “Medical Acupuncture for Physicians”, as well as at USC during the “Los Angeles Festival of Health”

Over the years, she has been associated with prestigious oncology centers like Premiere Oncology and various physicians and holistic practitioner.

She became certified as a Lymphedema Therapist through Klose Training which is associated with the world famous Foeldi Clinic in Germany. Besides Manual Lymph Drainage (Vodder style), she trained in Complete Decongestive Therapy, which involves, among other modalities, compression garments, bandaging, and manual therapies.

After initially working exclusively with Lymphedema patients, she now focuses on improving patients' plastic and cosmetic surgery outcome through special treatment protocols, working with foremost plastic surgeons, clinicians, medical estheticians, and acupuncturists/herbalists in Los Angeles. Her experience in this field is invaluable: It's not just the excellent surgeon, but also the experienced and highly trained post-op lymphatic therapist that will determine the outcome of your surgery.
